Vidya Prahassacitta (Of Counsel)

Vidya Prahassacitta is an Of Counsel at Marieta Mauren. Specializing in litigation practice area. As sworn advocate since 2010, Vidya has actively advised national and international clients as well as state-owned enterprises on criminal and private disputes as well as commercial disputes. Having experience as consul to manpower disputes, bankruptcy petitions, corruption cases, media cases, and cyber cases. Since 2012, she also has experience in law education as a lecturer in the criminal law area. Earned doctorate in law from the University of Indonesia in 2023; currently, she is an (candidate) associate professor at the Business Law Program, Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta. As an expert in media and cybercrime, Vidya assists the Republic of Indonesia government in drafting legislation and policy. In 2023, Vidya became an expert regarding hoax and freedom of expression at Republic of Indonesia Constitutional Court case number 78/PUU-XX1/20023.
